YOUR ILLNESS IS NOT UNIQUE
It doesn’t require some special medication or procedure.
As much as the medical industry would love you to believe otherwise, you weren’t born with a deficiency in medication. The reason you are in the situation that you are in, is completely down to you and the choices you have been making.
Obviously, no-one sets out to become ill.
Most people don’t realise that what they are doing to themselves on a daily basis is going to cause severe problems.
They have no idea that living the modern life of eating junk, refined and processed “food”, getting inadequate sleep, little to no exercise, excessive alcohol, coffee and sugar consumption, not drinking enough high-quality water, overexposure to EMF’s, toxic chemicals and fragrances, overwhelming stress and little mental rest is a recipe for disaster.
People think that when they get ill it’s down to bad luck, because, “everyone lives like that and they are ok”.
Well, statistics show otherwise.
We are far from ok.
Despite all this amazing technology to make things quicker and easier, we are the sickest and fattest we’ve ever been - but that topic is for another day.
So, the question remains, why have you got diabetes when your friend Jackie has restless leg syndrome and Bob has dementia? As Chris Kresser so wonderfully put it, “Here is a little disease equation: you take your genetic predisposition to disease, you add that to the modern lifestyle you are living, and you come up with your chronic illness.
Put simply, whether you have diabetes, arthritis, IBS, depression, chronic fatigue, brain fog, constipation, cancer, or any other chronic disease, your genetic weakness has been exposed as a result of you living a modern lifestyle, away from how nature intended us to live.
Living this modern lifestyle has left your body toxic, deficient, imbalanced, overstressed, exhausted and dehydrated.
I bet you are wondering how most people don’t get sick sooner?
Well, the body is a miraculous thing and if you have a strong constitution you may get away with living this way for years but, eventually, the body will get worn down and you will have to pay the price.
The ‘pain teacher’ will come and, if you want to heal and get to the root of your issue and not be confined to a life of drugs and hospital visits, you’ll have to start living differently and in line with the laws of mother nature.
Luckily, if you do this the body will heal.
It will not matter whether you have Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia or Crohn’s disease, because the way you heal one thing is the way you heal everything (apart from a few nuances).
You have to eliminate inflammation, heal, seal and repopulate the gut, expel toxins from the body, reduce overall stress, get the correct amount of movement, have time for introspection, find joy in life and have a purpose.
Do those things, no matter what your “unique” diagnosis, and the body will respond. I’ve seen it first-hand, time and time again.
You can keep on taking the medication that you have for years, never getting better, slowly poisoning your system, moaning about your affliction and using it as an excuse as to why you can’t do what you really want to do in life.
Or, you can do the things that create and maintain health before you get a disease...
It might not be easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.
And, because it’s not easy, getting someone to help you who’s successfully dealt with your issues before, to give you an easy to follow step by step guide is the key for most people.
